#Thailand#Nakhon Sawan#Banphot Phisai#Attraction Kao Nor-Kao Kaew is situated on the roadside of Highway Paholyothin, Nakon Sawan-Kamphaengphet, in Ban Dan Subdistrict, Banphot Phisai District. In the evening, a bunch of bats fly out from the cave of Kao Nor-Kao Kaew in the long black line which is astonishing. Kao Nor is the limestone mountain which Wat Kao Nor is situated at the foothills. The stairs lead to the cave situated on the peak where the giant Buddha image is at the front. When King Rama V went to the northern region by the Ping River, he stayed here. Later, the province constructed the statue of the king Rama V for remembrance. At the foothills, there are lots of monkeys waiting for the food offering by the visitors. Khao Kaew, is located in the same area as Kao Nor with the road as a boundary in the middle. Many caves around that area are the habitat of the bats. In the evening, millions of bats fly out of the cave, taking around 30 minutes. Currently, Ban Dan SAO developed this place to be a tourist attraction and built a pavillion for visitors to stop by and watch the bats. During the weekend, many people are waiting to see the bat colony while having dinner.
